Nestled in the mountains at only 2,600 feet above sea level, Lake Isabella has very mild winters for a mountainous area.  We are truly a "year-round" RV Resort destination!

Our moderate weather does its part to make life most enjoyable at Lake Isabella. There is rarely snow in the Kern River Valley. Dry, clear and invigorating, Lake Isabella combines the cool breezes of the mountains with the wonderful no-humidity environment of the high desert. It is truly beautiful all year long.

Our average annual rainfall is 9 ½ inches. Wet enough to keep things green and blooming!  Dry enough to prevent your fall, winter and spring visits from being "washed out"!

SPRING
Yellow, lavender, orange, blue, red and white wild flowers plushly carpet the entire valley and mountains surrounding Lake Isabella.  Everything is warm and blooming.  Bring your camera!  Enjoy the peaceful, calm beauty before summer arrives.
SUMMER
Very warm, long sunny days, with bright blue skies.  The Sequoia National Forest in the summer - its green, magical beauty embraces you!  And since Lake Isabella is the second largest freshwater lake in California, there is plenty of space for everybody along its 40 miles of pristine, natural shoreline.
AUTUMN
Cancel your trip to New England!   The Lake Isabella area is blessed with sensational red, orange and golden foliage.   The weather stays warm and dry through late-November.   Celebrate Thanksgiving with us!
WINTER
Look way up high at the white snow-capped peaks and ridges of the Sequoia National Forest surrounding Lake Isabella.   The glorious, powerful scenery is invigorating and captivating.  And yet, there is no snow down below at Lake Isabella - we are only 2,600 feet in altitude!  Enjoy warm, cozy evenings inside our charming club house. Relax in front of our grand, red brick fireplace, or our Big Screen TV Entertainment Center!
